Dear Editor,
It is with the utmost disgust that, as a taxpayer in Langley Township, I read that Mayor Jack Froese had large amounts of funding given to him by three major developers, including Vesta Properties [Froese spent twice as much as Green for win, Feb. 24, Langley Advance].
It now makes sense that, even when an entire neighbourhood fights to disagree with a re-zoning application, the mayor ignores their views and pushes the applications through.
I cannot believe the taxpaying citizens continue to be treated like second-class people again and again.
This happens time and time again. I have lived in Langley for just over three years, and given what I have seen with regards to over-building and poor infrastructure planning, I doubt I would have chosen this place to reside.
