Thanks for your column in Friday’s newspaper.
Yours is a job that is not always enjoyable.
But I’m sure that posted letter isn’t the first objectionable missive you have received and, unfortunately, it won’t be the last.
And don’t be overly concerned about the writer of that letter because there is little that can be done to rehabilitate his or her mind.
Certainly, modern medicine has yet to find a cure for stupidity. We just have to hope that foul words are his or her only choice for offensive weapons.
And in reference to Calgary’s highly-regarded mayor, I can think of at least one local city that would benefit from Mr. Nenshi’s guidance.
