It’s wonderful seeing kids and their parents riding bicycles in the neighbourhood, but I am confounded when those parents are not wearing helmets, while the kids are. Isn’t protecting dad’s brain and mom’s brain as important as protecting their offspring from concussion or worse?
And what do the kids think? Kids probably think there are two sets of rules and that their parents are hypocrites – “Do as I say, not as I do!”
It’s like telling your child not to smoke while you light another cigarette.
