I am a little surprised at the lack of earthquake-survival kits available in Surrey.
I recently saw a TV news program stating how unprepared we are in the event of a quake.
BCAA showed a kit that you were given an opportunity to win. Inspired by this, I went to a BCAA centre to try to purchase a kit but was told they don’t sell them and had no idea where to get one.
In view of the seriousness of earthquake threats in this region, wouldn’t you think that they would be readily available at a variety of locations, such as supermarkets, Home Depot, Rona, etc?
