Re: Question of the week, Dec. 8-14.

You asked: “Are Canada’s national broadcasters right to ban ‘controversial holiday favourite’ Baby It’s Cold Outside from their playlists?” What a dumb question! I bet that 99 per cent of your readers have never even heard of the tune, never mind knowing the words.

As a musician, I have played the tune many times, mainly as backing to a vocalist. And if I don’t know the words – and I don’t – then how can your readers be expected to make such a judgment?
