Re: White Rock calls for judicial review, May 31.

White Rock calls for judicial review? Really? Why?

How can hiding all these documents from the people who live here in White Rock be the right thing for elected officials to do? How can that possibly be even seen to be right?

What is so monstrous within these documents that requires the city to work so hard at such expense in order to prevent information sharing because they would be “compromised?”

I am beyond shocked and appalled by this entire fiasco. As a White Rock resident, I am not prepared to sit idly by and watch this gross obfuscation take place.

Ain’t going down till the sun comes up – Garth Brooks.

The sun will come up again in White Rock, despite the city’s audacious attempt using taxpayers’ dollars to stop the release of the details of the 2013 purchase of our antiquated, arsenic/manganese-laced, muddy water utility. Their latest move is to petition the B.C. Supreme Court to suppress the OIPC order requiring the city to fully disclose the details of the purchase of the water utility.

One cannot help but come to the conclusion that they are hiding something explosive.

When the sun does come up again in our City of White Rock, one can only hope that the mayor and his accomplices will be voted out or worse.
