LETTERS: Runners safety

Someone in charge of safety for the Challenge really messed up.

I  was at my usual station on South Main and Dauphin between 8-9:30 p.m. offering hot herbal tea with honey to the athletes trying to finish this gruelling race.

In the past, the athletes who were finishing in the dark were all given flashlights and glow sticks, what a shock when I noticed not one of these racers had anything.

Someone in charge of safety for the Challenge really messed up.
