Re: A kinder, gentler time we lived (Sidewinder, Jan. 30).
I just wanted to make a nice compliment on Sandy Macdougall’s latest column.
I remember Sandy in high school, although we were never close friends, we did say ‘hi’ and exchange a few words. I read everything he writes and really enjoy it.
We both lived in Haney when it was kinder and gentler and how nice it is to remember all the shops and places we enjoyed then. I just want to thank Sandy for writing such interesting pieces in the paper. It would be nice to sit and talk with him sometime about Haney. Next time I visit Haney I will try.
By the way, it’s still ‘Haney’ to me.
