With all the bad news making us feel isolated and depressed these days, please allow me to share some news about the kindness of a stranger.
Finding my car battery dead after shopping. I went back to Walmart to inquire if I could purchase a new one as I knew mine had lost its last spark.
Finding there was no help available to me there I was feeling very anxious when a kind man named Wayne W., who had heard my conversation with the store clerk, offered to help. He so kindly removed my battery, drove me to another store to purchase a new battery and then installed it in my car.
He refused any monetary compensation and wished me an early Merry Christmas.
During this time of fear of each other, this man’s kindness filled my heart with gratitude.
Thank you, Wayne.
