LETTERS: Tiny parks’ signs tax our patience

Editor:

I am a resident of White Rock and feel very grateful to live in this beautiful area.

Every day, I walk around our lovely city.

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to make a complaint regarding the lack of common sense of our city management in regard to the signs that seem to be posted in every teeny-tiny, postage-stamp-sized patch of land owned by the city.

There are numerous signs that are so big in comparison to the tiny size of land they are placed on that it seems embarrassing!

These are not little signs for little parks, but rather large, metallic, industrial-looking monstrosities that take away the quaint feel of these tiny parks.

I am afraid to know how much each of these signs cost me as a taxpayer.

Maybe there was a 20-for-one sale?
