To the editor,
Re: Canada should welcome migrants, Letters, Nov. 22.
Is the writer of this letter so naive as to believe that Canada should be without borders, that millions of the worlds refugees should be welcomed into Canada to be supported by life-long taxpayers, that uncontrolled immigration will not irrevocably change our Canadian identity? She has only to look to Europe to see how that is working out for them.
Every week economic migrants enter this country illegally to be supported by Canadians. Our elderly and poor struggle while Trudeau invites and welcomes third-world migrants, providing food, shelter, education and medical care at taxpayer expense. Where does it end; when our country is bankrupt and unrecognizable?

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Canada should welcome migrants
To the editor,
Re: Canada should welcome migrants, Letters, Nov. 22.
I can’t understand why there are people who want to have some of the migrants from Mexico brought into our country.
Isn’t this inviting more problems? Don’t we have enough with the homeless and child abuse happening in B.C.? Do we want another tent city?
Many of these people have no job skills and don’t speak English. Who is going to pay for their housing, their clothing or food? Come on people. Start thinking about it and forget about bringing any more problems into the country. Don’t feel sorry for these people. We have enough problems, we don’t need more.
