Once again in the Peace Arch News, there is a full-page ad paid for by the City of White Rock. It explains to the citizens of White Rock that our water has the taste and odour of chlorine.
What a waste of money! I just have to turn on my water tap and I can taste and smell the chlorine.
The ad goes on to explain that the chlorine will evaporate in about a day if the water is exposed to circulating air and sunlight. So today I had yesterday’s cup of coffee. Why do I have to wait a full day to get tolerable water?
It further goes on to explain how I can make a fruit drink.
When I need a fruit drink I go to a grocery store and buy a fruit drink in a nice clean container. Then, in the afternoon, I take a nice clean glass, pour in some vodka, add the fruit drink, sit in a comfortable chair and mellow out.
Thus I can forget about the unacceptable city water.
