Over the last year I have been following the travails of getting bus shelters installed in Parksville. Last week I was told that the RDN will be putting in two. I repeat, two! one on each side of Jenson. That is totally inadequate for this community and really quite disappointing.
I was lead to believe that there would be more shelters. The people I have been talking with at RDN and BC Transit asked for a list of possible stops. Never was it mentioned only two would be installed.
Parksville deserves better. Money for new signs, pennys for the people who need a little shade while they wait for a bus.
