LETTERS: White Rock noise bylaws not being enforced

Editor:

Editor:

Noise Bylaws in White Rock are not being enforced. Since the beginning of COVID-19 I have had to work from my home. It is not an ideal situation, but I’ve made the best of it.

A somewhat inconsiderate neighbour is constantly revving his motorcycle (sans muffler). Until the warm weather I have tolerated it.

With the warm weather I have my windows open, when unfriendly neighbour starts his engine, I can’t hear clients on the phone and have to close my window and bear the heat.

I have read the White Rock noise bylaw and the unfriendly neighbour is clearly violating it, not to mention the violations of the motor vehicle act.

I have complained to city hall, and still the noise continues, on one occasion 12:05 a.m. out of a sound sleep.

C’mon, city hall, we pay our taxes. Enforce the laws or give us our money back.
