It looks like Vernon and district is going to get more of the same old same-old from the Regional District of North Okanagan in the new year on its failed master water plan.
A recent article says regional officials are going to, “start to review the six water projects that were rejected by Greater Vernon voters in November’s referendum,” and a Morning Star article states the RDNO is looking for political direction.
Voters rejected the projects for various reasons, so why is the review only going to be done on six of them?
During the massive public dialog leading up to the election, a lot of people presented a lot of ideas which were not included in the very limited list of options that the water board had considered and then put forward to you. Why were the terms of reference given to their experts so limited in scope?
