Math question

Mr. Mayes, isn't it correct that your party has already been in power continuously for more than six years since the January 2006 election?

You do the math because something doesn’t add up here. In a recent issue, MP Colin Mayes wrote about Canada’s immigration system. Under the headline, ‘No patience for abuse of system,” he asserted,  ‘We will take the appropriate action to fix it.’

Mr. Mayes, isn’t it correct that your party has already been in power continuously for more than six years since the January 2006 election? How much longer do you suggest we hold our collective breath waiting for your political party ‘to fix it?’
