In reply to recent letter writer J.C. Lecordier, who suggested that if the French and English did not oppress Germany after the First World War then more than likely the Second World War would not have taken place, I would remind him that before war was declared in Britain, Poland was invaded by Germany and consequently many other European countries.
Hitler was responsible for killing millions of Jews and other innocent victims.
Lecordier also thanks Germany for the jet airplane. Perhaps he should also thank them for the rockets and V2 bombers that killed hundreds of innocent children and starving Dutch in the last stages of the war, taking away their potato crops (sometimes their only source of food) to make munitions to kill more people.
This is fact not fiction — I lived through most of this as did many others.
