Move homeless to city hall, not McAdam Park

Can somebody please tell me who the brainiac was that wants to put our druggy homeless up in the clubhouse of McAdam Park?

The building is just a needle squirt away from the pre-school playground and at the entrance to the off-leash dike section.

This will make the third neighbourhood under siege by these zombies. There’s aggressive panhandling, stealing, discarded needles and filth already in the neighborhood and park and you want to encourage this behavior further by giving them a building that is taxpayer funded.

The pre-school just spent $10,000 on a fence to try to keep the little ones safe because of existing problems there, and now this plan comes along to slap them in the face.

I seem to recall the taxpayers putting out $250,000 for a heating and cooling system for city hall, so the obvious choice for this warming centre would be in the basement of city hall.
