The United Church, Regional District of Nanaimo and Nature Trust of BC should be commended for virtually assuring the perpetuity of Moorecroft in the public domain. The church members were very generous in the transfer of this exceptional property into public parkland.
My mother, Irene, would have been extremely happy with this outcome and would have been very proud of her friends.
