NDP ads against Greens ‘highly selective distortion’

You, personally, are better than that, I know, but what of your party, the NDP?

NDP ads against Greens ‘highly selective distortion’

An open letter to Alistair MacGregor, NDP MP:

How do you respond please, to your party’s slanderous falsehoods broadcasting now on the local radio station? The ads include a statement that Elizabeth May said that she would help the Conservative Party stay in power, the party of Stephen Harper, etc. That accusation is at best a highly selective distortion of the truth.

Until I heard that ad just a few minutes ago, I was feeling cautiously hopeful with the apparently improved popularity of the NDP in advance polls, possibly bringing some sorely needed balance into government. I have been cautious in that, having noticed the similarity now of Jagmeet Singh’s public image with Justin Trudeau and his Sunny Ways of the last federal election. We know all too well what a crock of crap that was.

So, now understanding the NDP’s willingness to broadcast falsehoods to win popular support, just as the Trudeau Liberals did four years ago, are we heading again for another federal government term of betrayal of the public trust, aided and abetted by the NDP?

Dishonesty and betrayal of fiduciary trust is disgusting and demoralizing, spreading generally, a moral disease throughout society. You, personally, are better than that, I know, but what of your party, the NDP?
