NDP mishandling cruise ship question
B.C.’s cruise ship industry represents over $2 billion in yearly economic activity for B.C.’s economy and it provides more than 20,000 jobs and due to a proposed change in the United States, those jobs are at risk, and it seems that the NDP minister for tourism [wasn’t talking about it].
Worse than that, when the CEO of the Victoria Harbour Authority called the minister and offered to brief her on the situation, the minister did not even return his phone call.
Another one of many reasons why B.C. is lagging in economic recovery in relation to the other nine provinces.
The irony of this is that we still have an NDP government in B.C. for another three and a half years.
Unbelievable!
