Dear Sir:
I am outraged that the BC Cancer Agency can dictate what treatments a physician can or cannot prescribe for cancer patients, regardless of whether they are terminally ill or not.
These are my tax dollars at work. I demand the right to decide, in consultation with specialists that I choose – including alternative, complementary and integrative medicine specialists – what treatments I will or will not receive.
It is not the oncologist in question who should be investigated. It is the BC Cancer Agency that needs a thorough audit at all levels.
