Editor, The Times;
Many kudos to whoever wrote the article, “Hometown Heroes” on the back page of the District of Clearwater’s Community Newsletter.
As we all know, we all have to eat, and I’d like to extend a special thank you to all the grocery store employees province-wide. They are working with a minimum of safety protection and dealing with all customers, not knowing whether they are healthy or sick. Many of the part-time employees are paid minimum wage, earning less than whatever the government is paying people who have to stay home.
Then there are those who think the pandemic is nothing but a joke and refuse to cooperate by physical distancing. It’s very obvious that you all have doctorates in stupidity! It sure shows that you came from the shallow end of the gene pool.
If you are not physical distancing, this message is for you. Also, there are a lot of out-of-province license plates running around Clearwater. My message to you is: Go home!
