This summer I have, on numerous occasions, encountered groups of young children being monitored by counsellors from Oak Bay Rec.
These counsellors deserve a lot of credit and thanks for the fine work they are doing with these children. I have seen them in parks, on Willows Beach and most recently in the library where the children were well-behaved and orderly.
Too many times we forget the excellent work these young adults do caring for their charges.
