We have all driven the road between the junction of Highway 6 and 25th Avenue going past Polson Park and experienced the cracks in the road that shake our vehicles and shock our tires.
It was a good opportunity to see if we have any rattles in our vehicles.
Recently, the City of Vernon spent our tax money to fix these particular cracks in the road.
Now we can drive over these patches and whatever was rattling will likely break off and fall on the road because the patches are rougher than the cracks were.
I would expect, and demand as a taxpayer, that the City of Vernon send somebody to actually drive over these ridiculous patches and make whoever did the patchwork, fix them before they are paid for the very poor workmanship.
We pay money to the city every year via taxes and they are responsible to look after our best interests.
And the patching job along this route is definitely not in our best interests.
