Roses and Raspberries

I would like to add to the bouquet of raspberries from Penny Sanford in the May 26 issue regarding her flower basket thief.

I, too, live on Pigeon Avenue, and on May 11 in the late evening I had two baskets stolen from my front walkway.

The next night at about 11:30 p.m. someone came into my yard and tried to take my hanging baskets from the front of my house.

Fortunately for me, my husband had put zap straps on them. Our large Rottweiler heard the commotion and alerted us to the intruder. When we looked out the man was running away to a parked car which he got into and drove away.

Obviously this person can’t afford their own flowers.

I hope you enjoy your stolen plants or your loved one who received the stolen plants enjoys them.
