Roses and Raspberries

A huge bouquet of fresh, spring flowers to the local RCMP and the many friends with their families for their quick response and actions making sure Mom was OK.

This is such a wonderful community of people and we are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

Cariboo Friendship Society’s Pregnancy Outreach program would like to thank the two very kind, hard-working women who raked and swept up our yard last week on Pay it Forward Day.

They did a fantastic job and had a wonderful, cheerful attitude.

Thanks also to Rona for the donation of the new rake and broom.

From everyone at Pregnancy Outreach

I would like to share a huge thank you for all of the people who were involved in the Alexis Creek auction on April 16.

This event reminded me of how important it is to be a part of a small community. The amount of money that was raised during this auction was phenomenal, but insignificant to the amount of love and support that was shown.

After going through a few stressful weeks in the Vancouver General Hospital, the news that this auction was being organized was a huge shock.

To know that there were so many people at home thinking about us and wanting to help was amazing. Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for everyone who was involved in this auction.

I also want to give a special thank you to Corinne Bayliff and Connie Haley for organizing this event. Both of these ladies gave up a lot of their time to make sure this event was a success, and it became much more than that! Thank you!
