  • Rotten tomatoes, to the Surrey Now-Leader and the Langley RCMP for the article with picture of a woman who was stealing baby food and formula. I know stealing is wrong however it’s baby food and formula. Let’s not condemn and shame someone who may be trying to feed a child and who is clearly struggling.
  • Rotten tomatoes to the panhandler who preyed on the vulnerability of my daughter at the Surrey Central bus exchange. She felt sorry for this person who supposedly needed bus money and worried that she might be stranded there. My 16-year-old daughter has been working hard at odd jobs trying to save for her college fund while you just ask for handouts. She barely has any free time between studying, working and volunteering. She was ashamed that she had been scammed but we told her it’s the panhandler who should be ashamed. My daughter is only guilty of being too kind and trusting.
  • Red roses to the parents of the young girl that I recently spoke to in a Surrey park, as she kicked your dog in the side twice because it was pulling her. I told her to please be gentle with your dog, explaining that it wasn’t doing anything wrong. It broke my heart to see the abuse that a young child was doing to a defenceless animal. These red roses are not for you – please give them to your daughter, while you explain to her that there is no room in this world for any kind of abuse.
  • Roses to the city councillors who are standing up to McCallum and his cronies. Also roses to the Surrey RCMP and the team at Keep the RCMP in Surrey.

  • Roses to my late husband. Missing you more than ever as my first Valentine’s day just passed.

  • Happy 18th wedding anniversary to my husband Jake. You will always be my valentine. Lots of love from your wife.
