- Rotten tomatoes to all the disrespectful drivers who, when leaving the Canada Day celebrations in Cloverdale, drive through residential neighbourhoods honking, screaming, blaring radios, screeching tires and revving engines, bumper to bumper, for a minimum of 45 minutes. And a lot more rotten tomatoes to the City of Surrey for not providing proper traffic enforcement after such events.
- Red roses to the many responsible residents in the ‘Birdland’ area who take pride in their homes and yards in this peaceful neighbourhood. Rotten tomatoes to those who refuse to do yard maintenance, who dump rubbish into the back lane-ways and allow the properties to become run-down.
- Rotten tomatoes to our Mayor, Doug “the Thug” McCallum for attempting to control council to achieve his own ends! He has lost two of his party members who apparently object to trying to function with a “tyrant.”
- A giant bouquet of roses to Brenda Locke. I wish we had more on council with the guts to stand up to the bully mayor.
