- Rotten tomatoes to people who tell everyone to vote for other politicians if they don’t like the current ones. Don’t you know that elections happen years apart, not every week? Also, politicians should always be held accountable, whether you like them or not.
- A bouquet of roses to Ronnie Paterson for bringing back the White Rock Whalers and for all his dedication to minor and junior hockey over many years. As a proud alumni of the 1988 Whalers, it is great to see this team will play out of Centennial Arena where the ’88 team went on to win a provincial title.
- Rotten tomatoes and thorny rose stems to the person who destroyed two saplings in my neighbourhood. They were just planted last year to beautify the street. It is bad enough that people throw coffee cups, Styrofoam cups and fast food wrappers and bags along this street. There is a garbage can next to the bus stop – use it! And at the same time, leave the saplings alone!
- Red roses to the people who came to my assistance at the Surrey Central station. I tripped and fell and, in a matter of seconds, there were three people assisting me in getting up, and one young man wanting to help me get to my bus stop. Furthermore, two police officers also came to assist. It restores my faith in humanity, there is a lot more good people out there. A big thank-you.
- Rotten tomatoes for Linda Hepner and co. for allowing the 105th Avenue connector and LRT on 104th to go through. You got your petition and threw it out, then you made outrageous expectations for the “new” petition. Shame on all of you. I hope you all get voted out in the next election.
- Rotten tomatoes to the people renting a corner house on 109th Avenue in Fraser Heights. The front yard looks like a disaster zone with overgrown/dead shrubs and grass that hasn’t seen a mower in ages. Live in an apartment if you can’t look after the property.
