Roses and Rotten Tomatoes (May 26, 2017)

A weekly collection of compliments and complaints sent in by readers

  • Beautiful red roses to the wonderful Samaritan whom came to my aid on May 11th at the Save-On Foods parking lot in Fleetwood. I was rear-ended in the parking lot and he came up to me at my car and said that he witnessed the whole accident and said that I was 100 per cent not at fault. He stayed on the scene while we exchanged all of our information. He took photos of both of our cars and emailed them to me. He is a true saint! I will pay it forward!
  • Rotten tomatoes to the two stuck-up teenage girls who laughed at me while I was reading and their dog barked at me and tried to bite me. Shame on you, weirdos. I am only 10 years old – manage your dog better!
  • Roses to the kind and generous person(s) who paid for our meal at Fry’s Corner Beestro. We had a lovely lunch and your unexpected action made it even better! Thanks for making our day!
  • A dozen roses to each of my friends in OCG! You all rock! Thanks for helping me make my dream a reality! I am so happy to have you all in my life. Let’s see where this will take us!
  • Rotten tomatoes for the vandals who stole the “temp. no parking signs” on 175A Street in Cloverdale. We are so happy to live in the world of electronics, security cameras, underground cameras and many more crime-prevention procedures. Won’t be long till your picture is posted all over social media. Karma is a bugger, eh?
  • Rotten tomatoes to the disgusting man who was spitting in a bag on the SkyTrain. Gross!
  • Rotten tomatoes to the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair for taking away people’s bottles of water as they entered. Shame on you!
  • Rotten tomatoes to drivers who do not stop at stop signs. I have yet to see anyone actually stop. More tomatoes to pedestrians who mosey across intersections looking at their phones.
  • Roses to the weather for giving us an amazing long weekend!
