Editor, The News:
For years now, it has been about voting to get rid of a party. Once a party has been in power for more than one term, it becomes arrogant and self-serving.
Now you have no choice but to vote for the party that can defeat the one so full of itself that it’s just short of becoming a dictatorship. The next party in power has four years to show that it can listen to the people.
It really is a sad state of affairs for Canadian democracy. One can only hope this will change in our lifetime, and one day politicians will actually listen to the people that they represent and not become the greedy self-serving people we see in politics now.
