Shuttle would be helpful

The transit authority has left travellers in the lurch by not supplying a connection to Nanaimo

Re: Region examines Duke Point transit, June 1.

I think the local transit authority has totally left travellers in the lurch by not supplying a connection to Nanaimo, its bus depot or the airport from the Duke Point terminal. It’s a fairly expensive taxi fare to either of these destinations and at busy times they aren’t always available. A regularly scheduled bus or shuttle service would be a great extension of the ferry route. The shuttle wouldn’t need to run on the less-used sailings but if scheduled, ferry riders could choose the sailings with a shuttle connection.
