Though I may agrree with the writers’ comments (Hey Buddy, got a smoke… show?, June 11), the annual smoke show – “Burn Out Contest” brings in considerable revenue to the local economy. The smoke created from burning rubber may be a problem to some, but others really enjoy the smell and the smoke.
I can only conclude without the annual smoke show, car show and drag racing, the local economy would suffer from boredom.
