Re: Highway 20 and South Lakeside Drive:
There are also two other traffic problems.
1) Highway 20 from the Chilcotin turning onto South Lakeside Drive must immediately angle across three lanes to get to the left turn lane into the Real Canadian Wholesale Club and Canadian Tire, cutting off all traffic.
2) Trucks turning off of Highway 20 from the city centre onto South Lakeside Drive are not able to negotiate a turn if they are on the inside turning lane.
Trucks on the outside turning lane, turning onto South Lakeside Drive, must also immediately start cutting across three lanes of traffic to get to the left turn lane. This is barely workable with the traffic flow at present.
It will never work as the Prosperity Ridge development expands.
