Re: Whole country facing challenge with pipelines, June 6.
The future legalities of legislation concerning pipelines does not compare with the crisis of a sustainable environment to ensure continued human life on planet Earth.
The completion of the Kinder Morgan pipeline and the resulting greatly increased traffic of oil tankers along the B.C. coast will ensure a catastrophic oil spill. It is not a question of if but just when it will happen. Oil spills on land or water can never be totally cleaned up.
Money sourced from irreversible pollution to our environment will not give us clean air, clean water, or safe food. To continue all life on planet Earth we must to strive for an economy based on clean energy.
