Story sparks memories of happy youth

My most favourite memories are living right beside Turners orchard as a child.

My most favourite memories are living right beside Turners orchard as a child. As kids, we were always in the trees playing and picking apples, from the time they were green (and no Mom we never got a tummy ache) till they were ripe. Mr. Turner was always kind to us and never gave us heck for picking his apples. I remember that they were the best-tasting apples I’ve ever eaten. Right off the tree!

We also had an apple tree in our backyard the Mr. Turner would give a quick spray when he did his own trees. He would tell mom when he was coming and we’d run into the house for a short time.  The blossoms covering the whole hillside in the spring I cannot do justice describing them. What a delightful childhood, to grow up in an orchard, thanks to the Turners.
