The Golden Food Bank Society and Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the ongoing support over the year. Whether by donations or grants, volunteering, services provided, food drives or fundraising activities, your involvement with the food bank is greatly appreciated. All of these activities contribute to the Food Bank’s ability to help those in need within our community. These are our neighbours, our friends and our families. To be able to provide them with this support, truly shows what community is all about.
At this time we welcome our new co-ordinator, Barb Davies. Barb has recently moved to Golden from Calgary with her husband and son. Barb is a nutritionist and has spent the past 15 years working in the natural health industry. Barb joins staff member Christine Wilson and a very dedicated group of volunteers whom without, the food bank could not function. We would also like to acknowledge our past employees and board members and thank them for their commitment and hard work.
The Golden Food Bank is blessed with strong community support and your thoughtfulness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
