Like Cliff Stone of Surrey (regarding his letter to the editor, “Thanks for saving my life,” on May 6), I, too, am writing to say thank you to some of Surrey’s finest.
I was in trouble early on Sunday morning and after I made the 911 call, two ambulances – one a cardiac unit – and one of Cloverdale’s big red trucks with extra caregivers on board quickly arrived.
Arriving at Surrey Memorial Hospital I was given the finest of care by the attending ER doctor. He explained all the tests and procedures he ordered and the follow-up care I would require.
So often people are quick to complain, usually with no good reason. But let’s all take a minute to say thanks to those who come when we most need someone. They truly are angels on wheels. Thank you to all of them.
