Thanks to Mill Bay fire, even though it was a false alarm
My wife and I would like to thank the Mill Bay Fire Department for attending what might have been a deadly disaster. Fortunately it was a false alarm.
My CO senso started to beep at an alarming rate at 20:00 hours on Saturday, Nov. 12. As we all know, CO is odourless but still deadly. We phoned 911 and two firemen at 20:15 hours. One was a Mr. Hillis, the other, no ID. They both tested all possible places CO might have originated from and nothing was found. We were presented with a new CO sensor (now already installed). We were informed that the department would rather attend a false alarm than have us wake up dead in the morning.
Once again, thank you Mill Bay Fire Department.
