Thanks to snow clearing help, made it to work on time
We have lived in the Cowichan Valley for 29 years. Our driveway comes out to a bus stop/mail boxes area before we can enter Cowichan Lake Road. Around 6 a.m. this past Saturday after a fresh dump of wet snow, we faced the daunting task of clearing a path from the end of our driveway to the road. This is a task which we or our neighbour has had to do year in and year out.
Being a nurse, I informed my work I would be a bit late. However, as my wife and I were shovelling, a grader came by, saw our predicament and cleared a route through to the road. We wish to send out a big thank you to that driver for his efforts. I made it to work on time!
