To the Editor,
Re: Celebrate B.C. during holiday, Opinion, Aug. 4.
You print: “Unlike our arch nemesis in Toronto, we know how to have a good time.”
Toronto may be your arch nemesis, but not anyone’s who ever visited Toronto.
From Toronto’s sunnyside beach sands to the lake front promenades east to the giant sand dunes of Scarborough Bluffs. The promenade waterfront walkways, the Science Centre, restaurants, water craft rentals, ferry to Toronto Islands out in grand Lake Ontario.
Downtown has real theatres, top-notch entertainment and you hear passersby actually saying hello to complete strangers, unlike Nanaimo.
Toronto has the nature all around – Don River, Credit and Humber river valleys to name just three.
