Personally I think the idea stinks. I worked for the parks department for 35 years and in Beacon Hill Park a lot of that time and there was never a problem, ever. There will be many if these ideas are made permanent.
How can you justify not allowing a drive-through for someone who cannot walk very far? To spend taxpayer money on this kind of thing is terrible. The city, mayor and council should be ashamed of themselves for all the wasted money spent on a whole variety of things.
