Walking bridge takes its toll

I could not agree more with letter-writer Grant Christianson’s position.

The individuals who did the feasibility study and approved this capital expenditure for Pioneer Cycling and Pedestrian Overpass are either incompetent or have no idea what they are doing.

If you had 500 people per month walking over the bridge for a 10-year period, it would work out to $53.33 per trip, assuming the $3.2 million is the true cost of building.

Wouldn’t it be nice to hold someone accountable for this and do his next performance appraisal?
