I am writing to support Hillview Golf and the unrealistic water rates charged them.
To lose this course would be tragic. It is affordable for all age groups. Just try beating the seniors to get on the course early in the morning. The junior program is producing great young and respectful golfers. It is also a treat to see all ages interacting and enjoying themselves out on the course. Ms. Cunningham says, “We can’t assist one business over another.” Maybe she and her board should look at how to keep valuable businesses in business.
I really hope the Greater Vernon Advisory Committee does an honest review and honestly considers what its unrealistic water rates are doing to residents as well.
We are not from Vernon, but RV there several times a year. The main reason is Hillview Golf, Jim and his staff. Don’t lose this treasure.
