To the editor:
Every time we have an election politicians promise more and more incentives to vote for them. The federal Liberal Party promised all kinds of things and said the deficit would be 10 billion dollars, it’s now 30 billion.
Reducing MSP premiums by 50 per cent will cost one billion dollars a year. We need more money for healthcare, not less.
That billion dollars could go to a pharmacare program for all B.C. residents. If politicians want to do something that affects my day to day life they would hold an inquiry to see why gas prices are always much higher in 100 Mile than Williams Lake or Kamloops.
