Provincial Winter Fair is one of the few unique agricultural shows that feature a live auction of market beef and lambs shown during the fair by 4-H and Open Single Contributors. It is a tradition for multi-generational families, however there are numerous newcomers who are always welcomed.

The 2012 Provincial Winter Fair was well attended throughout the weekend, and winding up with the live auction on Monday, Sept. 24.  Coordinators reported that there were 450 people in attendance at the Agriplex on the Sunday evening awards banquet and dance.
