A lot of prizes handed out at season finale

108 Golf Resort Ladies Golf Club had a great season

The 108 Ladies Golf Club is finished for the season, and club spokesperson Shannon Knapp says it was a great year with only one rain-out.

“We did have a couple of games we had to stop because of weather, but other than that, it was pretty good.”

The ladies finished the season with their annual Tombstone Tournament, and although the weather didn’t co-operate 100 per cent, Knapp says they all had a wonderful time.

“The social committee – Lori Henderson and Deb Garrow – came up with ‘What Doesn’t Belong’ and they hid things on all nine holes for us to find and make a note of, as well as ‘How many golf balls are in the jar’.”
