The Revelstoke Acrobats competed in their second meet of the season last month in New Westminster on Feb. 18–20. Ten local athletes competed in trampoline, tumbling, and double mini trampoline events against a large field of B.C. athletes.
There were many highlights from the weekend of competition.
Ainslee Arthurs competed in the national category of trampoline events, a feat that has not been accomplished by any Revelstoke Acrobat in over ten years.
Taya Driediger competed in her first meet ever.
Jenna Bollefer and Frankie Howe competed in tumbling for their first time.
Marissa Duncan competed in the highest provincial level ‘A’ for her first time, and almost every athlete earned a medal or ribbon in one of their events.
