After almost three years of fundraising, the U17 Silver team, Aldergrove Impact are heading to Hawaii to participate in the International Cup Tournament, July 7 to 10.
The International Cup Tournament is the largest competitive soccer event in Hawaii, with teams from all over the world participating. The boys are guaranteed four games at the world-class Waipio Soccer Complex, located near Pearl Harbor.
Travelling with Coach Scott Brewer, Assistant Coach Tim Herder and Manager Kevin Snowdon are team mates Kyle Brewer, Brayden Herder, Alex Snowdon, Connor Bjorknas, Jaskaran Brar, Wade Brenner, Tanner Cumiskey, Ryan Damm, Cam Ellis, Sheldon Hubert, Adam Schonewille, Dustin Van, Nathan Weibe, Peter Woods, and Dustin Wilkinson, and their families.
“The team would like to thank Coach Scott Brewer for getting the ball rolling as well as Aldergrove Soccer and Boston Pizza for all their support,” said spokesperson Angie Schonewille.
